  • Intro to Ashtanga YogaAshtanga Yoga is a 5,000 year old sequence of postures designed to bring incredible strength, flexibility and endurance to the body and a sense of stillness to the mind. Suni Apter teaches an introduction level class of the Ashtanga Primary series, and adapts the class to each student's ability level. While the standard Ashtanga Primary series is not usually suitable for beginners, Suni has a knack for providing variations and work-arounds to allow students of ALL ABILITY LEVELS to participate in this awesome class. This STRONG class will teach the fundamentals of ashtanga yoga, sun salutations, ujjayi breathing, anchor points, energy locks and vinyasas to prepare the student for more advanced levels of ashtanga yoga. Ashtanga’s intensity can also invoke positive life transformations off the mat, helping you to live fully, with a deep sense of Self, in your daily life. with Suni ApterSuni Apter teaches traditional Ashtanga yoga. Friday

  • After-Surf Yoga

This class is specifically designed to help your relax your body, and especially the neck, spine, shoulders and hips after a full day of surfing. This class includes many forward bends to counter the extended spinal position that we regularly maintain while paddling and powering into waves. We'll have water, mats, towels, and a place for you to rinse off. Come on over right after surfing! At just 45 minutes, this class allows you to stretch out, relax, and still leave at a reasonable time to eat dinner or go out with friends.
