“I began surfing at the age of 12 on a little local beach break called “El Sunzalito”. I was inspired by my friends and fell in love with the sport quickly. Ever since I’ve made it my personal goal to perfect my technique and be a better surfer”.
“Meme” is well known for his patience when it comes to teaching people from all backgrounds how to surf; he’s taught people from all over the world. A true style master, Meme dazzles in the lineup and is fun, outgoing, and methodical with his coaching approach on land. He started to surf competitively in local contests when he was around 15 years old and then internationally shortly after, he has been amazed at how many doors this world has opened for him and he never forgets the deep connection that he has with the ocean.
