Each day invites guests to follow their own rhythm—whether greeting the sunrise with optional dawn patrol surf sessions, flowing through mindful yoga practices, or simply resting and absorbing the beauty of the ocean. Guided by Lindsay Gonzalez, daily yoga experiences range from grounding morning flows and strength-focused mobility to restorative evening practices that support deep relaxation and nervous system balance.

Beyond the mat and waves, the retreat includes unforgettable adventures such as a waterfall hike and swim, a coffee culture tour, and a guided trek up the Santa Ana Volcano. Evenings bring community together with nourishing dinners, Holotropic Breathwork journeys, and a closing cacao ceremony to celebrate the week’s transformation.

  • Daily early morning snack
    • The morning snack is a buffet offering of fresh fruit, homemade nut butters and toast, hot tea and local coffee, a daily immunity shot, and an optional small portion of eggs and beans if desired.

    • Each dinner includes an appetizer, main dish, mocktail, and dessert. Our nourishing, elegant meals are a staple of the Balancé experience. 
    • Wine is available to order by the glass or by the bottle nightly.

THINGS NOT INCLUDED

  • Lunch: Most days, lunch is not included in the itinerary. A packed lunch is included each time we are on a morning to afternoon cultural excursion (coffee farm / waterfall / volcano).
  • Alcohol: Nightly, guests can order beer or wine by the glass/bottle during group dinners. Alcohol orders are added to each guests’ bill.
  • For beginner surfers: Surfing lessons are not an included part of the retreat package, but there is time baked into the schedule for guests to book optional surf lessons with our instructors
  • For experienced surfers: Board rentals are not included but available upon request from our quiver and available at a discount.
